Tasting notes
This 100% Grenache - grown on sandy soils, displays charming and complex aromas of garrigue, freshly crushed raspberries and earthy spices. It bursts with intoxicating aromas of potpourri and ripe cherries. The tannins are soft, giving it a lush and vibrant mouthfeel and a delicate finish that retains a sense of power.
Food and wine pairings
Vieilles Vignes is a versatile wine to pair with food. Due to its spiciness, pure red fruits, fresh attributes and the myriad of different levels of depth and textures, this wine works well with a diverse array of food. Grenache pairs perfectly with grilled and braised meats like beef, veal, pork, chicken and of course game. It holds up well to hearty dishes like cassoulet and it is a good match for subtle styles of Asian cooking.

Reviews
Jancis Robinson - 2020
"This medium-bodied red offers lots of freshness, with tangy flavors of raspberry and currant underpinned with notes of mineral, white pepper and orange zest. Supple, integrated tannins and a mouthwatering finish give this good definition. Drink now through 2025" [+]
